I bought a ClassPad 300 the first day it was available in the US so I got an early model. The display contrast was so bad, I could barely read it even in bright sunlight! I sold it although I miss the programming features it has. Has anyone bought a 300 recently? If so, has Casio improved the display contrast? That was the ONE thing that I simply couldn't tolerate. I really miss the 300 and would buy another one if I could be assured that the display is now readable in normal room lighting.

Thanks for any info,

Tom Lake

As i know all the CP are with the same contrast (very difficult to read). I bought my CP on October... Maybe without the screen protector of the classpad its more easy to read the display.

it seems some model are shipped with a green protector in addition to the normal one, if you take that off (and if you want the clear one) it should be much easier to see.

I never had a problem either, but some people have talked about a green cover...
