Would it be possible to make an access to the chat in the main page of the forum ? Indeed, I takes me a while to get the chat with mIRC , so it'd be fastest like that and I'm sure that we'll get the chat more often..

The good old applet will appear on the website once it is launched again. There definately will be a chance to access the chat through the website.

Why an applet? if you could install an irc-library on teh server you could have an irc-chat in PHP. java is too slow i think.

edit: the system of the server had to be <{GNULINUX}>.

bye

We have a windows server right now (as I recall simon's words). The best choice is always an irc program. An applet will do fine if you just want to quickly sneak into the chat.
