I don't really understand the new layout of this forum, like IPB and Lo-Fi version. What are all the strange icons on the bottom right? and what is GZIP?

lo-fi version must be a version for the bots so that they can visit and index the forums/topics/posts

Those are server monitor things, I put them to see if IPB 2.0 was slower than 1.3 and it is slower. GZIP is a compression algorithm that can be used to compress the pages before sending them to the clients.

The Lo-Fi version is a special version for people with slow connections.

The Lo-Fi version is a special version for people with slow connections.

the regular one runs fine on my 28.8k modem...

everybody needs to make sure they hit ctrl+f5 on a few of the pages so that you get all the new graphics.

btw, try using the new "edit" tag, tell me if you like it (im in a BB code spree).

that will reload the images, right now you might be seeing some of the old images (do it on several pages so you get them all).
