Flash Editir is not the french version of Flascom (which is also French), these are two differents programs. Well check if you have selected the right cable type or use FlashCOM instead. Also check your port settings under WinXP.

Ok, I had similar problems, and while it still doesn't make sense to me why it worked this way, it just does. I also use Win XP.

One: I cannot communicate with my calculator with ANY program until I first try to recieve something using FA-123. What I mean is I also get that stupid communication error message at first, but if I open FA-123 and send something from the calc to the computer and then leave FA-123 open, I can then use flashcom to upload or whatever to the calc.

Two: This is in reference to flashcom, when I try to upload a file with some exe's still in the compile box, I have errors while uploading. Once that is cleared, it works perfectly.

Hope this helps.

:P Hi guys??

I don?t know why but when I tried to launch the Flash Editor ( from the ?Win 98 exe File? ), this message always appear:

The language `vb5fr.dll`or `409`could not be found.

But I copy the vb5fr.dll file to the system directory, and the same message appears??..

When I try to launch the Flash Editor ( from the ?Win XP exe file ), this message always appear:

System Error &H8007007E (-2147024770). Impossible to locate the specified module.

If you can help-me please put here the solution for this problem??

PS. - I have the ?Portuguese version? of Win XP.

PC ? Notebook Asus A1300, Intel Mobile P3 1 GHz, 384Mb ram. :)

Well, Flash Editor never worked with me....i tried Win 95/98/2k/XP. Until i gave up. (The 2k version was english all the others portuguese. But hey !!I dont believe this is a language problem!!!)

I have some problems with flashcom, ... (i have a data error wen i add more icons, if i have the main title changed-and i was just making changes in the "system" file).

I would like to edit the Calculator's title/links from the computer but, all the known programs give me some strange errors.

hey dudes, just try Flash100 now !
it's flashcom in better
you can send cfx files, extract exe for it
create lec with forlders in it (only in the c++ version)
just do whantever you want with the speed of flashcom and the options of flash editor
