The other day, entering a formula, I used this character : "–".

Later I Quick edited my message, and the character became a "?" during and after editing. I then full-edited my message, without changing anything, and the funny square came back to "–". Isn't it odd ?

And if I modify the "?" into a "–" in quick edit, it stays as a "–" forever

Hm ... how did the character look like?

Maybe it is a problem with what you set character encoding to in your browser.

You do not, by any chance use IE7 and this is a newly introduced incompatibility?
