There are new downloads available at edu.casio.com - notably:
* ClassPad OS v3.05
* FA-CP1 v1.03
* Screen Capture v1.01

And Windows 7 64-Bit is supported now! :)
Hopefully, they will release FA-124 v2.01 soon.

Btw, can anyone check the differences between OS 3.04.5000 and OS 3.05?

To sum it up, according to that page the changes in the os are:
1. They added the commands available in "Financial" application as normal functions to the ClassPad's cas so that they can be used in any application.
2. Added 'on data' option that causes quartiles (Q1, Med, Q3) be chosen from the data user has entered. (Always be one of the values user enters)

No changes in other fields. ( :( )
But, what is more important is this update shows they are still working on ClassPad. :)

64bit Driver for Classpad is the same as for the 9860G. I've installed FA-CP1 on my Windows7 64bit OS (this installes usb driver) and than I have copied
FA-124 forlder from Windows XP. Now is it possible to run FA-124 on Win7 64, connect to 9860G and even transfer programs, data between 9860G<->csv, g1m etc. What isn't possible so far, is to browse programs or variable directly in FA-124 - it show funny characters or nothing...

Further progress :-)
After copying of FA-124 on Win7 64, you must register "regsvr32 c:\Program Files (x86)\Casio\CASIO FA-124\VSFlex8L.ocx" by command "
Now is it possible to browse variables, matrices lists in FA-124. Funny characters browsing programs are caused by missing font.
What is important that the 64bit driver really works...
[/quote]
Font problem has been solved and I've fully functional FA-124 V2 under Win7 64 :-))
Missing fonts are FA123ALG.TTF and FA123GRF.TTF located in c:\Windows\Fonts on a Windows XP machine. These font must be installed on Windows 7 (copy to C:\Windows\Font isn't enough - must be installed)

Hi, I know this is not topic related but what are the exact steps to access the ClassPad's diagnostic mode?
After pressing [=] + <span class=EXP' /> + [ON/OFF] the message "Factory use only ... Delete all data?" is shown - but what key has to be pressed to continue?

PS: I have just updated my ClassPad 300 to OS 3.05. :)

There are no exact steps.
The diagnostic mode has been removed from the ClassPad. It was only available in early versions of the CP operating system. The menu you say is for resetting mcs and flash memory ( = deleting all your data ).

How do you actually make it work, and is it dangerous? I've been having a lot of junk in my flash memory for years, actually, after trying vanhoa's brilliant port of GnuBoy, and as a result, it does not reset properly (some eActivities that I thought were completely lost mysteriously resurfaced intact after a reset), and most importantly, everything is wiped off whenever the ClassPad is reset, that means that I have to reinstall all my Add-ins and other stuff every time I change the batteries, or crash because of a fatal error. Been living with that for years, but I wouldn't mind a solution, if there is even one.

Oh, and OS updates don't fix it.

Happy you Kilburn! As of my classpad, 'special' addins that crash usually delete my eActivities, no crashing add-in has been ever able to restore my deleted eActs! But your classpad seems to have got a hardware problem because of the overclocking. (Just kidding dude)
As of normal CP's, that menu should delete all data.

Better return on topic.
Have anybody found any bugs fixed in this os version? Especially the problem some users reported with polar complex numbers in electronics formulas.

I have installed OS v.03.05. on my ClassPad 300 PLUS. There is one problem. When in program app I run program, results stay in program output window. As soon as I left program app (for example tap main button), program output window clears. Somtimes it's unpleasant. Often program output window is only place where I can take program execution results. This problem was in OS v.03.04. but in OS v.03.03 was not. Do You also have the same problem?

This can't be called a problem. It is the way they programmed 'Program'!
In OS 1, the results stayed in the window even when you quit 'Program'.
In OS 2, it changed and results where cleared when you exited.
In OS 3, as far as i know (i only have the cp manager version 3.04.5000), they changed it again to the OS 1 manner. Results stay in the output window even when you exit. It's strange you say OS 3.04 had this problem.

What kind of data are you talking about? I wonder if data type might matter. I noticed that my data was preserved on my CP-Manager software but not on my handheld... wonder if that's related.

edit: sorry, forgot to mention that was v3.04 handheld and manager

I have observed it only on ClassPad. In ClassPad Manager has allways been so, that program results stay in the output window (even when you exit). It was so in ClassPad Manager 2.2, 3.02., 3.03., 3.04., 3.04.4000 and 3.04.5000. This problem affects only the ClassPad calculator.

All kind of data disappears from program output window if I quit program application. Somtimes it is not good. For example, I execute program, then make calculations in main application, and then I need to look at the results of program, but program output window is cleared.

When you purchase the Classpad, does it come with the Classpad manager professional?
