  • Calculators:
    Casio Class Pad 330

Posted 04 May 2011 - 03:26 AM

Hey guys :),
Lately I have been having a bit of trouble with my calculator,

The rest of my maths class uses a different calculator, but I use the Class Pad, so I was lost for help then found this forum.

Basically my problem is, ive been trying to solve equations such as:

The formula for the circumference, C, of a circle is given by:
C = 2 x Pi x r
Find an expression for r:

Everytime I put that equation into my calculator, by going to Action>Advanced>Solve, it always Wrong Argument Type, what does this mean?

Another example is:
The volume of a cylander is given by the rule V = Pi x r^2 x h, find an expression for h.

It looks like this when i put it in my calculator:

Solve(V=Pixr^2xh,h)

And yet again, wrong argument type, can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.
