What calculators do you own? And are you really 65?

I'll be 67 next month.

I'm trying to decide which calculator to buy. Please see the following post:

http://www.casiocalc...?showtopic=6749

Can you help me decide. TI has not responded to me yet. I don't want to get the HP-50G (75 Mhz) because of the RPL programming language.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to get this within the next week.

Hello 42, as said in my profile I have programed C for years. For example I have written a program that outputs all 4x4 magic squares into a file. I am now working on a DOS add-in on the 9860 as I found it has addresses(\\fls0\ for example). But the problem is text-style console inputting. Can you help me? Must I use getkey and print( ?

A dos addin, hmm? Have you considered porting bash? (The default shell for many <{GNULINUX}> distributions) It fixes many of the idiosyncrasies of QDOS, and adds some new features (like piping). You can also view the source of bash, while you only have experimentation to work on when porting something dos-like. If bash is too large for your purposes (it most likely is), you could try porting ash source: ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/sla...sh-0.4.0.tar.gz (Note that the source is a tarball, and that you'll need 7-zip or something like that on windows).

Hi drewkman, welcome to UCF :)

If you want to get started with programming your fx, Forty-Two mentioned a good tutorial. You may also want to try LuaFX and C/C++/ASM.

If you work hard, read a lot, and ask questions, you may be the more tech-savvy of yourselves in time.

Working hard is the main thing. You may feel like you are making no progress, and then all of a sudden you get your program to work. It can be frustrating, but all in all, its very fun. :)

Just use this online whois tool: http://whois.domaintools.com/ it correctly tells you the country of an IP address.
