this is the first application (that I know of) created for the classpad, it is a graphic design program loosely based on the program by Adobe, it features layers, brushes, a pen mode, text entry, and various other features. You can download it at www.crimsoncasio.co.nr

ps: there are still a few bugs in the pen mode I havent been able to fix yet.

I dont want to be a bitch, but your site is breaking the UCN regulations.

As of now, you dont have a link pointing to the Universal Casio Forum.
Please add one.. you have 2 weeks, or else the site will be closed.

THAT Is all that that UCN asks from you for free hosting.. just put it somewhere visible!

Thank you,
Simon D.

simon, the links arent up yet, all I have is that temporary links thing... but if you insist I will put a link there...ok its done  . actually I do have one question, when I do get my links section up and running can I just have a link in there or do I have to keep one on the main page? I was thinking something like what I have on my old page (old links page).

@AlephMobius: what do you mean how did I make this program... I just programmed it.

Did you use the BASIC language on the calc or make it on your PC and transfer it like an add-in?

If I were going to get one I would wait to see what the capabilities are for add-ins. I think I will get a Casio Z-1 instead though. Thats kind of off topic here so I started a topic in the Misc forum.

I think the classpad is going to be great for add-ins, the stylus will be a great asset for many games since its practically a mouse.

also, I found a few bugs in the rename function that is leading to memory leak problems, they will be fixed momentarily

===EDIT===
ok, its done.

umm, I feel kinda stupid... I accidentally deleted the source code for this program and dont have it backed up any where...

Oh well, I'm starting over from scratch so the next version will be much diffrent from the last one, heres the plan: I'm going to give it a face lift and make it much more user friendly, you will now be able to draw in full screen mode or half screen, all exported pictures will be put in a seperate folder to make things easyer to find, now layers will be able to be hidden and locked, you can now create PSD files so that you can pick up where you left off, it will have cut/copy/paste features, it will also be able to create tiled backgrounds, use filters, and insert shapes. Also, it now lists the layers and shows info about them.

anyway, this version should be a huge improvement from the last ones... sometimes its nessecarry to blow something up to rebuild it better. :D

sure thing, but you will have to wait a little bit. because of the way my site is set up its very hard to link to another site for games/progs I'm making a templated way to do this and as soon as its done I'll fix the link.

just anouncing that I managed to get some of the filters working, you can now soften, sharpen, and create negative layers (on pixles inverse pixles on another layer). more to come soon, if anyone can suggest some good ones that would be helpfull.

I just released CasPM, a version of CasPaint which works on the Manager, it runs super fast so the filters and such take mere seconds.

Maybe it is not connected with your project, but I think, that touche screen can replace the mouse so that it would be possible to make an RTS game!
(I don't have classpad, but I think it is always good to give some new ideas to constructive people)

ah, yeah I've been pondering SimCity and Advance Wars, also some first person RPGs. actually thats what I originally made CasPaint for, to make seriously cool graphics for that kind of game.
