NOTE: UPDATED TO VERSION 1.0 (Reload your browser to view the new screenshots)

Hi everybody!
As you know, for converting images and text to ClassPad, you usually use emulator part of the ClassPad Manager 3 which is available on most ClassPad CDs as a time-limited evaluation software. It also has a poor user interface.

But with ClassPad MCS Editor you can easily view and manage ClassPad Manager's MCS and VCP files, and import/export text or pictures to an MCS or VCP file, then use your expired CP Manager or the free FA-CP1 program to transfer it to your ClassPad! All in a single easy-to-use program!

Features:
* Neat, user-friendly file manager!
* Can directly convert text to TEXT, PRGM, or CPLua format :)
* Can convert images with better quality
* Can export text, programs and pictures from the MCS file to your computer!
* Hackers (not crackers!) will love this one: View files in hex and import/export binary files

New in version 1.0 (Stable version):
* Fancy icons :)
* Supports VCP files
* Shows file size in the status bar
* Several bug fixes

Thanks to mkanter for discovering the MCS secrets. The MCS file handling in this program was impossible without information he found.
Be sure to read the information and download the file from this site.

I really hope this program doesn't have a destiny similar to some other ClassPad programs. I have big plans for it.
Goodbye, and...
Please comment. ;)

Awesome! How long has ClassPad been able to do grayscales? And what kind a grayscales can it do? 8-color?

The ClassPad has been able to do grayscale for a long time using Gaumerie's Library.

There is one thing, however, that my program doesn't support grayscales; what you see in the picture is because I resized the screenshots! :crazy: But making a grayscale picture converter and viewer should be rather easy now we have a convenient convertor.

BTW, Developers: If anyone has an add-in or wants to make an add-in that needs data import/export from computer, tell me. I have good information for you. :)

Despite the big amount of comments above :greengrin: I updated the program and now it supports VCP files and bugs are hopefully gone.

Be sure to download and use the new version :)

Thanks!
Since its made with Qt, it should be quite easy to make native <{GNULINUX}> versions, too. But I don't undergo problems unless I have to!! so if anyone is interested in a linux version, just tell me. :)

Hi micropro,
Now I think school computers always deliver frustrating results. Have you read my post about the outdir error? The same machine delivered the CP MCS problem. That's so strange as it has windows XP system, which I believed is one of the OSs with best compatibility.

Thanks for feedback. :)
So the problem was with the computer...

I tested the program a bit more and it seems that it has problems in importing some JPG pictures on some XP machines. I don't know what's wrong...
