Hi all,

can anyone enlighten me how to calculate the percent of a number on my Prizm?

How can I reuse inputs and outputs from previews calculations?

Thx in advance.

For percent, just multiply by 100. :P For your second question, check out http://community.cas...-previous-calc/

Thanks for your respond...

I wonder how is it possible a state of the art calc cannot do simple things like that.

My fx-991ES can calculate a percent like this: 100+10% = 110

On Prizm there is not even a % symbol.

So you mean to calculate the same with Prizm I have to give: 100+0.01*100 EXE 110?

Is this the only way?

The answer to my 2nd question is also weird because you have to assign every time for each calculation a new variable.

1) 100 + 10% does not really make sense to me. I think it is mathematically wrong. If you want to have an increment of 10 percent just use X*1.1. And i don't see why you would like to calculate the percentage in this way.

2) only if it isnt right after it. And as you can see what you have to calculate it is a bit weird not to do the calculations in the right order. And if you have more calculations to be combined, the needed variables are not coming as a surprise so you know that you will have to use them again and then you assign it to a variable.

Well, it's not mathetimatical correct but it's the way we calculate in everyday life and it's easy.

You don't always know what are you going to reuse. But nevertheless it somehow works with CLIP and PASTE.

Thanks...
