When will the filesharing be able to accept new games and progs? I always get an error (something with the previous name).

And: Will the layout also be changed? The website is too dark, that scares me (The IPBoardstyle in blu would be better).

we hope to be redesigning the filesharing in the near future, but getting UcfIrc up is taking priority atm.

I think that's right. Keep developing! This forum with its features is great!

btw, I just noticed the login system was not working any more on the old file sharing system because a field was renamed in the database when I upgraded the forum *cough* it's fixed now :D
I also fixed the "previous_name" bug.

The comment system suffered the same login issue... also fixed :D

Sorry for the delay, I haven't been checking the error logs of the old site for quite a long time...

I thought that the FS system was no longer being used because it wasn't displayed at the forum top any more :-/ (hmmm... the :-/ smiley is missing)

Speaking of, when are we going to get the FS area renovated? I can do some moderate server-side PHP work, as well as any client-side stuff that needs to be done. ;)

2072, there are a lot of broken links in the AFX section of the FS, earthforge.com has been down for years. I was able to get some of the files from other sources (like F-16 Falcon 2.0). What do you want to do with these? Reupload them somewhere else and change the link? Insert a note in the description?

OFFTOPIC:
flyingfish, a true flightsim on a calc might be something for you. F-16 is exactly that. Interested?

Woah, indeed, yes. :)

I knew about it, and tried to find the sources multiple times, but I had no luck.

How hard would it be to port to fx9860, or... PRIZM?

I'd say that depends on the program - I want to see the sources!

I don't have the sources, unfortunately. The developer Roeoender left many years ago, but as the Falcon 1.0 won a UCF Programming Competition, there might be a copy of those sources flying around here (not very probable, though). Another possibility would be to decompile it, he left the name of the compiler on his website. That one is offline, too, and only in small parts on the web archive, but I found an zip containing the entire website (including the "flight school" and the executables) on CasioWorld. Go to the "Jeux" under "Flashs", scroll down until you see Falcon 2.0, and click on the link after "archives:". Now, explore the website, visit the flight school and watch the videos. I will send you a PM about how to use it on the emulator. (It would take up way too much space here.)
Back on topic: The site I linked to hasn't seen maintenance for several years now, it contains many good programs (including some which are uploaded here, but have broken links), so it might be worth bringing the contents into our FS. And I can dig up some more AFX-related sites with stuff you can find nowhere else. But I think Falcon 2.0 on CasioWorld was my greatest find.

I have the largest collection of files for casio AFX on my PC. :P I even have themes for it (to change the menus), etc...

You should make something like "last files uploaded" below the "recent topics"-bar.

Yes please start! Hey I think I can do somewhat harder PHP too.

There are also broken links in ClassPad files, too. Many of them are available elsewhere.
