Hi,

When I try to integrate sin2x from 0 to 90 I get a different answer. Could someone please tell me why this is happening?

I assume the 90 is 90 degrees.

Generally, you must integrate the trig functions in radians only.

You need the switch the calc to RAD mode (shift+setup and press 4).

Input your equation and use as upper limit pi/2 (which equals to 90 degrees). You can use the fraction symbol for inputting pi/2.

Alternatively, the calc is still in RAD mode, you can input 90 as integration limit, but you need to add the degree symbol (shift + ans and press 1) and the calc convert the degree to radians automatically

Notes concerning Integration are in the UG, page E-34, chapter Integration calculations.

I put it in radian mode. When I integrate sinx I get the correct answer. When I insert sin2x I get an answer which is not the expected one.
