Hi to everybody

i'm new of the forum and i've recently bought a quite old FX9700GE...

The calculator it's perfect for my job, and i want to try to connect with a modern laptop (win7 or vista).

i know that several problems exist:

  • cable:the calculator is connected by  a jack-serial cable, and i don't have neither the cable nor the port on my laptop..
  • i've tried to run the program  (FA-123, but i'me not sure that's compatible with fx9700) on my laptop with compatibility setted on win98, but doesn't work cause 64bit os i think.

So, anyone could suggest me any solution about that problems?
