the link "CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE TEMPORARY UCF!" should be changed from
www.casiocalc.org/casio/forum
to
casiocalc.org/casio/forum

Otherwise the automatically login won't work.

For met not. I use netscape 7. this version of netscape comes from <{GNULINUX}>. Netscape differentiates the domains if they are with www oder without. that menas: if the cookie is stored by the site casiocalc.org/casio/forum/index.php the cookie isn't avaiable for the site www.casiocalc.org/casio/forum/index.php
And that's the problem.

Matter of taste. IE has a much more error tolerancy/backwards/sidewards compatibilities with HTML/Javscript. Also it displays stuff so that it pleases me more than NS. Also the acronym for netscape navigator "NS" is not the best one! We aren't nationalsocialists, right?

Geez.. ill change.

me and killers tollerance towards Netscape is 0. This is mostly due to the vast amount of trouble that we had making IE code Compatible to WC3 NN standards. I also have a problem with opera. they should make JS cross compatible across all browsers.

Thanks,
Simon D.

I understand you both. But netscape 7 is more tolerant to nonstandard-html-code.

thanks, simon!

Netscape 7 ? All right, just access my website with "it" and say me how it looks or even take a snapshot of your screen and post a link here so I can see if NS7 is really good... my website is perfect for the validator.w3.com thing, good with Opera (except for javascript...) perfect with IE but NS doesn't respect my StyleSheet and do not display the modified cursor on the links... and even don't respect or understand the http headers my cgi send to the client...

hm. i see something like a little iframe on the top. in this i frame is the whole content of the page.

i don't know why, but the iframe is always one fifth of the whole page. i watched into the source and your CSS and i mean you should remove
overflow: auto;
in the body-tag.
The cursor-change works fine.
i did not tried your CGIs and the headers of the CGIs. Please, send me an URL where a CGI is located, that send headers that don't work!

well every page on my website is built by my php cgi so just look at the properties of the page with NS and say me if it receives the last modifie date, the expire date, max age, etc...

and try to "save as" the page and tell me the name it proposes you to save the page on your hard drive, if it works it should be the content of the "to" variable of the link of the page, only opera respect that not ie.

NS 4.76 doesn't.

I have removed the overflow thing (put between /**/), does it change something ?

Thanks for your help !

informations for index.php:
modified: Sunday, 22. September 2002 03:34:29
expires: Monday, 21. October 2002 10:57:09
-> max age: 1 hour

i recommed you to download netscape - faster than internet explorer and if the code is W3C-standard then no representation-mistakes.

Yeah! (Mozilla for <{GNULINUX}> and Netscape for Windows).
If I use <{GNULINUX}> I don't have the Internet Explorer there. I have to use Mozilla! So, don't be so unfriendly against Opensource, Killer and Simon!!!!

Nothing against Microsoft Killer, but who knows what you get with your free internet explorer... ?
I dont think the ie is spyware free. I am 100% sure, there is a "bug" (yea lets call it a bug) in the ie that allows microsoft seeing where you surf to. :)
hehe what do you mean?

i think like bytefish. microsoft does nothing without any use for them! and they don't get money with the internet explorer! i tried to use windowsupdate with netscape and microsoft told me that i have to use the internet explorer to use windowsupdate. why couldn't microsoft give me this fucking ActiveX for windowsupdate? i think microsoft uses a "bug" (a hole only for microsoft) in the internet explorer to look onto your computer. or can you show me the source of this activex?

did you heard of the palladium technology and of the TCPA?
look here (german): http://www.heise.de/ct/02/22/204/
or here (website of the TCPA) (english): http://www.trustedcomputing.org/
i think the mose informatiosn you get from the article on heise (the first link).

Hell, I drove you mad. Sorry. But it's not like that I said you are living in that particular town (you did it!). I just talked about the world conspiracy. B) Come on, relax. :)

It's just that we are controlled by the media and capitalism and all this stuff anyway. There are worse things happening on this planet. If I would be thinking about the situation in africa all the time, for example - I'd surely would go mad. Even if microsoft is getting information about me through the internet - no one is getting any information about one of the starving kids down in africa.

So what.

I think that palladium technology sucks, the end of the free world, the internet. Then you can't do anything whitout M$ permissions. And everybody will need to pay a lot for M$ shit programs. And do you know the new law in England, don't remember what it's called. But it says that the governament would be allowed to get all the encryptions keys and there would be no more meaning of encrypt anything

Lunarstorm has worked as a "porn" site. One older man DID buy 14-16 years old girls to his porn movies, he made a few one before the police got him.
