Hi,
How do you find the rref of:
1 -2 1 7
3 -5 1 14
2 -2 -1 3
I have found the matrix-rref application under 'main', but I have trouble entering it onto the calculator, such as the different rows.
Everyone in this forum has been very helpful! Thanks! :)

Hi,

one way to do this is to use the keyboard 2D-Calc 1x2 and 2x1 array templates to build a blank 3x4 array.

Try this: press the 1x2 array icon to generate a 1 x 2 array. Press the icon twice again to generate a 1 x 4 array.
Now press the 2x1 array icon to generate a 2 x 4 array. Press this icon once more to generate a 3 x 4 array.
Now fill in the numbers from your example row by row exactly as you have written them. Use the cursor keys to jump from column to column and row to row.
Cursor back to the beginning of the line and insert rref( before the array and ) after.
Press EXE and if all is well the rref should appear.

HTH
Mike
