I've installed it (3.04.400):
I tried some things:
Main application problem seems ok (I can't reproduce the disappear again)
Quick test: Spreadsheet: I switched to deg, and made some trig calculations -> answers was correct (in deg: sin(180)=0; sin(pi)=0.0548; in rad: sin(180)=-0.801; sin(pi)=0)

Searching for new bugs... (hope I wont find new)

What they fixed anyway? Does anybody knows where to find the summary of changes (fixes) from 3.03 to 3.04.4000?
In 3.04.4000 they did not fix the bug i care the most:
degree mode
e^(i*45)=0.5253+i0.8509
which is wrong!
And correct answer is:
degree mode
   e^(i*45)=0.7071+i0.7071
They fixed very little it seems.

Thank you,
Kabel

yes, that's incorrect. thanks for pointing that out. I'm not upgrading and my classpad is getting dust near my fireplace. TI all the way.

unfortunately classpad is never gonna fix these bugs regarding degrees and radians!!

but for your specific problem, simply just add the degree mark after 45, and you will get the correct answer!

I think adding the degree mark only works if you leave the calc in radian mode (ironic, isn't it?).

CASIO has discovered the problems described below in the software of the CASIO ClassPad330 OS 3.04.
Problems

(2)
Executing a calculation in the Main application, exiting the Main application to another application and then returning to the Main application causes the calculation history data from the previous Main application session to be deleted.

I updated to 3.04 and now the program VIGACASIO doesn't work... an error appears when it starts to calculate moments, reactions, etc...

:banghead:

Can I return to 3.03?¿

What in the world is wrong with the people at Casio? Do the people at the top of the food chain at Casio know how long has this been going on? It's time to ask them how long are the bug problems going to go on without being fixed? Has anyone written to the president of Casio? Clearly they need to make some personal changes or provide some modivation. This reminds me of the stuck accelerator problem in Toyota cars-tinkering around the edges without any real progress. Switching to TI isn't the answer because their machines are very limited in math capability. I wonder if the HP50g is the answer? Any body tried that route?

Well, I don't think it would make any news to point out that HP50g is currently the most powerful machine in its category...no question asked. cheers.
