Hi!

Wow, you can now convert your ClassPad Manager Basic into Professional - for free!

Yes, I noticed ClassPad Manager Update 3.06 doesn't ask for any password and it also doesn't show "ClassPad Manager will expire in xyz days" in the about box!

See what's new in this version HERE.

They have added a useful functionality to the 'angle' function which can be useful. For electrical engineering students that are unhappy of the changes in OS 3.01 in the usage of degree and radian signs, this is a good improvement so they no longer need to use the 2e^(i45°) notation. :) (See the "problems" this notation had caused HERE (workaround in post #2) and HERE (workaround in post #34) )

The page at CASIO site also says:

Calculation Accuracy improvement: Solve function (trigonometric equation / simultaneous equations)

But gives no more information or examples. I don't know what improved about trigonometric functions, but regarding simultaneous equations I checked if solve accepts matrices as arguments (see the problem people had HERE and HERE for example) but it still doesn't accept matrices. So I have no idea what's really new in this part...

But the best thing about this update is that it shows they're working on the ClassPad and improving it! :D

The New Problem of Classpad OS 3.06

The upgrade is very good to work with the polar form of complex numbers but the function "comToPol"
not now allowed to enter data in matrix form ( did before), now the screen says invalid argument when working
with this function in degrees, now only accepts a complex number at a time in degrees form. when you
introduce a matrix but in radians "compToPol" works perfectly.
