can we find the equation of the parabola ?

Yes, we can. General form of parabola is : (y-h)^2=2p(x-k)^2 ( or inverse ). If you know vertex (h,k), and a point (x,y) then replace them in equation and solve for p.

you suppose the parabola axis is parallel to y-axis or x-axis ?
