heh, the first place prize is a classpad. which brings the question, if you won a competition for programming a classpad, why do you need another one?

lol, yeah... me and brian disscussed the prizes quite a bit, i know it really doesnt make sense but what else is there? perhaps the manager can be given to 1st as well, that would make more sense.

(and of course you dont actually have to have a classpad to use the SDK...)

Maybe the overhead projector would have been a good first price.

Anyway, is there a preference for the type of contribution? I mean will be games preferred overt scientific ones?

Thanks for the cotinuum support, information,...

It would be nice if Casio would release the new (Version 2?) system for the Classpad. After all, who wants to use the SDK to write programs for an obsolete, or soon to be, CAS.

I'm sure if someone won first place and wanted a lower prize (like the Manager) they could probably substitute.

An extra ClassPad isn't such a bad thing. At least you'll have a replacement stylus. At the very least you could sell it to a friend or on eBay. :D

as many as you want, the best score you get is the only one that counts.

There has been a slight change to the ClassPad Programming Contest: http://classpad.org/contest.php

The deadline has been extended to June 1st. And a new tentative prize has been announced. First place will be a Casio digital camera! (we think this one.)

ah, probably a better choice :)

however, since you started the competition with another prize mabey you should let who ever wins pick which one they want (on the off chance that they really wanted another CP ;) )
