Is there anyway that you can tell if the box of Classpad 330 has been opened? Does it have Casio seal or something?

No, I think there is no way to detect from the box. And it's not important if it has been opened.
Just make sure every accessories is included in box.

If you are worried about buying a used one instead a new one note these tips:
A used one surely has tiny scratches on screen protective film and other parts.
By the way, after years my CP is worn on the edges.
Carefully look at the USB port, if it was used, you can find some sign there.

I am just worry that if somebody else has used it and used it carelessly, the data and program may have been corrupted. They may accidentally delete some built in programs, equations, eActivity or corrupt something due to careless use. Similar to Novice who corrupts Windows by deleting files they are not supposed to delete or modifying registry which makes Windows unable to boot.

This actually brings up another question in my head. Does the calculator come with master cd in which you can reformat the calculator, wipe out everything and restore the OS and everything to its original factory condition? Sorta similar to recovery DVD or CD for a computer in which you can restore Windows and all of the factory preinstalled programs to the original factory setting?

There is a CD in box (CP manager, CP OS, Add-In installer, Manuals and ... are included), but I think by upgrading firmware you can have a fresh CP with its all Apps.
