Casio 991es Stat Please Help!

Hi,

How can i calc mean mod avarage and etc. if i have a table of X and Y?

for example:

8 pepole earn 100$

9 pepole earn 200$

what is the avarage income?

You cannot do such advanced statistics with the fx-991ES. You will have to buy a graphing calculator with an advanced STAT mode if you would like to do that.

You cannot do such advanced statistics with the fx-991ES.


You actually can; it's pretty simple:

Enter Statistics Mode: Mode -> 3;
Select a Type (Experiment with the options to find a suitable one, for your example use 1); [number]
Enter the Data for each line, and press =; 100 = 100 = ...
Clear the Screen; AC
Enter the Variable Menu; Shift -> 1 -> 5
Select the value you want; [number]

By looking around in the Statistics menu (Shift -> 1 in STAT Mode) you can find all kinds of values for your set of data.
