Hi everybody,

I have owned my Classpad 330 for about 6 months now, and now I have this weird problem.

There is, what looks like, a piece of black foam at the top-right of the screen. It appears that this foam was glued at the top of the screen, and the glue wasn't strong enough, so now it has slipped off and it is now covering part of the "X" on the upper-right (the close button that is displayed in most Classpad apps).

Has anyone else had this problem?

If I take out the screws and open up my Classpad, will I be able to separate the screen from the glass to reposition and re-glue the foam? Or, is the screen and glass all one unit that can't easily be taken apart?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Super Neato and welcome to the UCF.

I have personally never had this problem with my classpad.

I think it should still be on warranty so you should be covered. First, phone the official CASIO support desk to see what they say.
Wen unscrewed, the calculator is in separate layers that are VERY close together if I remember correctly. I would, however, see casio before you do this.

Hope that this helps,
