Classpad 330 - Basic Programming Questions

Hi, i've been searching for countless hours to no success on how to do a few things with the classpad 330 I just bought.

Ive got some surveying, physics and engineering exams coming up, and want to get the calculater prepped so I can pump out results as quickly as possible - and i've got visual basic experience, so I figured that it'd be easy for me to make some apps on the cp to do what I need (and I don't have time at present to start learning the C/++ side of things).

But i've had a few issues finding:
- high quality/full documentation with a detailed list of BASIC syntax's & rules for the calculator
- Is there a compiler I can use in windows to compile .xcp files to port straight across to the calculator?
- Otherwise what is the easiest way to write & output BASIC apps onto the calculator (without typing them in using cp mgr/or the calculator)?
- BASIC apps + source code examples for the calculator

Then I have been having dramas working out simple operations such as using the PRINT command to print text & a variable (ie. "Answer = " & D where D is a real) - first I figured it'd be as simple as "Answer=" & D, or "Answer="D, or "Answer=" & Str(D) but the calculator doesn't like them.

Any help here would be appreciated.. I want to start to be able to use this calculator to its full potential.

Also if anyone knows of surveying & physics programs/packages available online for this calculator, please point me in the right direction.

Hello Jerry and welcome to the UCF!

To get the full documentation I suggest that you register with edu.casio.com and download the manual 'ClassPad 300 PLUS OS v2.20' and scroll down to page 546 of 753 pages. That has all the commands you will ever need. The Classpad Community does not really have that many proficient BASIC programmers so source code is limited.

But, please do feel free to PM me and I will show you how to do anything you need to do.
