any one plz help my casio fx991es + is showing wrong result to tan 30. it is showing tan(30)= √3/3

In wich angle mode is your calculator?, you should put it in degrees, if in the top of your screen, there is a R or a G instead of a D, this is the problem.

That answer is correct for tan(30 degrees) which means your calculator is currently in degrees mode.

tan(30 degrees) = 0.5773502 = √3/3

 

If you want to change the mode to radians, press Shift, [MODE], 4

 

If you want to change the mode to gradians, press Shift, [MODE], 4
