I recently got an fx-cg50 to add to my Casio collection. I was hoping that the programming language would be compatible to the CP-400 language. Instead, it is more compatible with my older 9850 models. Since the 9850's had 3 color capability there were codes within the language to post your output in different colors. However, the CG-50 does not have this capability (not as far as I can see) and the color coding must be deleted from the programs to prevent error messages. I was surprised since the CG50 is a full color display. Why would they not have this capability? Does anyone know of a way to output your messages/results in color like you can on the 9850's or CP400's?

It is described in the UG, chapter 8, page 8-23, 8-28,8-29,8-30. The list of available commands for programming is on the pages 8-52 till 8-59. The Color and Paint commands are available after pressing shift + 5 (format) as described on the page 8-58.

e.g.

"X"?->A:A->X:For 1->B To A

X+sqrt(X)->X

Next

Green Locate 1,4,"X="

Red Locate 3,4,X

the result for X=25 is displayed as a green and red text

X=295.5424029
