I have a brand new fx-9760Gii  USB Power Graphic  not USB Power Graphic 2.

I am going through the 20 page Quick Start Guide and I think I have found two errors already.

https://edu.casio.co...-9860GII-SD.pdf

Anyway, I am on page 7.

1.)  To get from step 2 to step 3, the guide does not mention that I have to press F5 (G-Solv)

Am I right?

2.)  For step 5 for the y-calculation, I found that I have to press the F6 key to get choice of  F1 (Y-CAL) , F2 (X-CAL),  F3 (integral dx)

so that I can do step 5 and step 6 and step 7.

Am I right?

Just so frustrating.

ad 1) The mention is written the page 6 bottom: To analyze features of this graph (roots, maximum and minimums, y-intercepts, intersections,

determine coordinates, and integrals) select F5 (G-Solve).

ad2) Yes you are right, the pictures on the page 6 bottom show all options.  I agree the QSG should be clearer in this point.

Thank you.

In re-reading page 6, I can now see that they mean that F5 (G-Solve) must be repeated.

Not clear to me on first read.

F5 then F1 for step 2

F5 then F2 for step 3

F5 then F3 for step 4

F5 then F6 then F1 for step 5

F5 then F6 then F2 for step 6

F5 then F6 then F3 for step 7. And I need to press the EXE key to enter the two values needed for X  (0 and 3) .

Can you tell me whether the QSG is wrong for step 7 on page 5?

specifically, the COS and TAN key presses.

Yes, all steps for the 1st part are correct - press F5 to see the main G-solv screen and press the corresponding F key. Press again the F5 key to return to the main menu (root, max, min, y-icept, intesct, y-cal, x-cal, integral)

My tip for inputting the lower and upper limit for integral: you don't need to trace this values by cursor, just type the 1st value, press enter and type the 2nd value and press enter again to get the result.

The 2nd part: According to me it is mistake.

Thank you for the tip.

The error in Quick Study Guide that tells the user to press the COS and TAN buttons in step 7 on page 5 is repeated in step 5 on page 15. Very bad.

That's right, but on the other side I like mistakes because the mistakes are forcing me to analyze problem deeper.
