I was looking through the disassembled code of a simple program I wrote in C and I noticed that it jumps to a location where the bytes are 0x0030 or 0x0070. I was wondering if this does anything or if it is just skipped. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it when looking through the specifications so I was just wondering this.

Many thanks,

Aleksandr

Are you sure that's what is located at the address where the code is jumping to and it's not the offset to the address itself? Can you post the jump instruction?
