Sorry if this is a really basic question but I am trying to do something which in theory should be so easy to do.  Here is a simplistic example:

Calc 1. 10x10=100

Calc 2. Ans x 5=500

Now I want scroll back and edit calc 1 to 10x100 which should give the Ans as 1000 so Calc 2 should then become 5000.

When I scroll back to edit an error in calc 1 it just uses the calc as at template for a new calc 3 and calc 1 remains 10x10.

How can I edit calc 1 to effect calc 2?

Thank you

I see 2 options:

1) chain your 2 calculations into 1 calcuton- 10×10×5, go back and change your formula to 10×100×5

2) try following notation (search for "multi-statement" in the UG): 10×10:Ans×5, go back and ater finishing the calculations change previous formula to 10×100:Ans*5 - the colon is important!
