Does anyone have this book?
If so what is your opinion on this book?

Well, I've dished out the moolah for this book and it have to say that it's not quite what i was expecting.

I was expecting every single step to be explained and illustrated like the manual and like those interactive tutorials on some educational websites.

Philip Todd(Author) does however state boldly that the book is not intented to replace a standard Calculus text.

After reading the first few sections several times I realized that once I become more efficient and knowledgeable at using the Classpad this book will be extremely helpful. I seriously thought about the returning the book but I was pretty certain that I would eventually buy the book anyway after I become more aquainted with the Classpad. So for now I'll keep it.

im sure it explains how to "do calculus with a classpad", but i doubt it teaches Calculus, sort of a how to use your calc book but specified to calculus.

anyway, once you get a chance to use it effectively please give us a review so that others can decide if they want it. :)

There is a very good book about calculus, the author is James Stewart (edit. Thomson). I think you can read it and do some calculus with the classpad. Also this book have real life applications, i like this a lot.

Thanks for your response Crimson and Betoe,

I would definitely love to give a better review but don't expect one anytime soon. I'm still waiting for my Classpad to arrive in the mail. It should be here by Fri.

What is the title of that book Betoe? 'Calculus made Easy'?

Well, I think that this book has helped to understand how to do math with the CP, but it doesnt teach math/calculus.

A few typos are found on the book, but the examples are great.

On thing I didnt like the most is the space waste on the book. The author uses, say, 11 pages in an example that could be done in four. There are pages that have only two screen-shots and a few text.

Still, the book is good, and like everything, could be improved.
