Espa?ol.

Hola muchachos.

(*) ahora listar? + y -

+Pantalla extra grande y tactil
+Teclados f?sico legible, virtual inmejorable
+Aplicaciones matem?ticas bi?n resultas y gr?fica inmejorable

English.

Hi Guys.

As I already indicated in a previous topico, I am new user of this product, something as well as 3 weeks, and I have walk itself by almost all the pag. www and the menus of the CP and I have been with varied surprises, some very good and other cuestionables. But before my presentation.

My name is Mauricio Araya, is Chilean and is 33 years old, studied Architecture by something as well as 7 years of which I was not titled and I changed the arts by the engineering (they do not ask because) that at least in my country is but beneficial that Architecture monetarily. For 4 years that work as HelpDesk in platforms Pc and Microsoft for the mining in Un0 Computerland Microcare S.A. company of coarse experience in Engineering and Support of computer science, thus also in CSC Company. Actuly I study Engineering in Automatization and Industrial Control, exclusively ingenieril carrera, which took to me to desacer to me of my old CasioFX3600p and to look for something but agreed with the present necessities.

For that reason I looked for between many options of calculators and I chose CP 300 the most adapted to me, one by his low cost, has supported and easy of use. At first I looked for between the HP, but it happens that my company is authorized technical service of HP and I have seen in numerous times the recurrent faults of these equipment, reason why I decided not to buy them, soon I looked for in the PDAs world and I did not find any that was adapted to my necessities and the other is that it is difficult to find suitable the programs specific of Mathematics and Engineering and that by the others it has to buy them aside, were not the solution until, I was with the CP which has helped much in the part learning me since you can see graphically everything much more a mathematical development of problems and, from already his screen it is greater than others, which aid (*) now I will list + and -

+Display extra great and toucher
- A little dark much, him dont buil light
+Energy Power (easy to find, 4 batteries AAA US$3)
+Men?s very intuitive almost just as a PC - details Exist has to improve in the men?s
+Keyboard physical legible, virtual superb
- The physical keyboard must have been flat to continue using the pencil and not to be interchanging with the finger
+very fast in built-in applications
- Very slow in applications BASIC
+o- Interface with the PC should be improve
- Interchange of Office files between Cp-PC not yet is possible
+Incorporated Application, easy to use and load
- Applications BASIC slow and dificult to load by the administration of folders
- Dont have Unit Converter built-in
- Periodic Table, very basic
+Mathematical Applications, is very good and superb graph
+Spreadsheet, basic but very useful, should be improve
+To Grafhics easy to use except for some configuration details
- User manuals information are insufficient, is necessary to buy books

(*) Although already I indicated that the screen is quite good, lacks light, which under low conditions of light is difficult to read, CP 300 does not present/display configuration of size font in the windows, reason why the reading sometimes difucult, either does not have splitters of significant numbers 1,000,000 or 1000000, different from 1,0. I believe that it had to incorporate angular Base to be able to adapt it to vision position. (I am making one, when it finishes it I will send the details)

Good, I hope that it serves as something these commentaries to them. I recommend to them to inquire enough before buying a product. In my case I am very contented with this purchase, but also I hope with anxieties that appear a new version soon of the CP that incorporates all the as much physical improvements as of programming, has supported etc. that is described in this forum.

* It can that many things have escaped of me, reason why I request understanding to me, Thanks. excuse me my inglich, jajajaja :P

In "inglich" :P:
Hi Maurice, welcome to this forum. Thats very cool that you posted in both languages (specially in english).

The things you say are very interesting. Classpad is a calculator in development still yet, here we believe that we are starting to know and use a little percent of its power. Besides the casio development for the classpad, here there are a lot of users with a lot of knowledge that could make great contributions for this calculator, like with the AFX.

See you later.

jlssoft post:

Greetings
I have a TI voyage 200 and a classpad 300. Both are greats calculators. I think that the classpad is better by the easy use of the stylus, but its difficult to see the display, specially when there is a few light. But the software of the TI is better (its obvious, its older than the classpad), anyway i think that the classpad will have a better software in the next OS releases.
For me the best thing of the classpad is the easy and faster use, though the Voyage have a querty keyboard makes a easy use too but its too great the calculator.

You can find more ideas about the use of this calculators in my site:

Sorry but i dont speak english.
