OK, now a dox in size 3 should be a 3x3 rectangle centered where you put the pen.

I'm not sure what you mean about the clock. If you pull down the menu and it displays a check, the clock should be on. If you see a check and you select it, it should turn off the check and turn off the clock. Does this work correctly for you?

I also fixed a handful of bugs, including a bad bug when zooming.

Of course there are some new features...
  • Text mode
  • Vector mode
  • Circle mode now draws from the center out (like you would expect)
  • New drawing model. Now you draw an object like a line using two pen presses. The first pen down starts the first point. The first point is then added on the first pen up. The second pen down/up places the second point.
  • Ability to edit your last draw operation. For example, if you draw a line the two defining points will be displayed and you can continue to move them around to change the line. B)
The version is now at 0.90.

very good job! just a few improvement, I think it would be "pratique" (easy?) that the <-- (backspace?) key is as Undo/Redo

Good idea! I'll add it with the next round of improvements/bugfixes.

Yes, I read it. I think these are all great ideas that should be added to the program, but for now I'm busy working on some other projects. ;)

Don't worry, I plan on making more improvements to BitEdit, but it might be a while :(

Oh, I'm working on some future ClassPad goodies.

Off hours I'm also working on a HP16C-like simulator. The HP16C wasn't such a great calculator, but is did a great job with bit operations and displayed numbers in binary, octal, decimal, or hexidecimal. There is a Java simulator here on the web. NOTE:The Java version is a bit annoying because you have to turn it ON before it will work.

And who knows, maybe a version of BitEdit might make it into the OS ;)

thats a good idea, but you would have to disable the unsupported things wouldnt you? perhaps you could have an unlocking variable like you do in the Chip8 program...

I agree, this is a needed feature. Right now when you add TEXT if does this, but not when you copy/paste, or move.

I'll put this on the list for feature to add next....

:D :P It's very easy !
Try to draw a not straight line (with pencil) in BitEdit. And you see it in your "Touch Screen Protector" ! :banghead:   :!:
So I buy a new "Touch Screen Protector" about 3$ (USD) :P (very cheap) :P

Using the stylus leave a mark on your protector!?! Yikes! It sounds like you need a protector protector.

 So where did you buy a new protector?

It could be worse. I was going to write a game with different bugs that you have to kill. Some are small and fast but reproduce slowly, while others are big and slower but reproduce quickly. To kill the bugs you have to hit them with the stylus.

I started to program this game but decided not to becuase too many people would crack their screen trying to whack bugs. :hammer: :D

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

OK, I added transparency. I actually use the "Draw Opaque" term by Windows Paint. Turn this option off and you draw "Transparent". If you copy and paste or select and move, the image you ae moving will use WHITE as the transparent color.

I also improved the clock so you can change the display format of the date and time.

Of course there are a few bug fixes too. :D

BTW: If you downloaded it just after I posted this you probably have the version with an embarrassing bug. The message table numbers were off by 1, so some of the strings are out of order. I fixed it and put a new version up.

It would be a nice biult-in OS application.
@SoftCalc: Is it possible to put your add-in in the next OS release??
