Ok guys as many of you will know my FX2.0 was either lost or stollen in school. This was seriously bad :( but I did have my CFX-9850G to fall back on so all was not lost (but I was megaly p'd off).

Well now my CFX has gone missing and I'm distraught. I've mannaged to get my Dad to give me money to buy a new FX2.0+ but there is a snag: first of all I've had to work my backside off for it, but that's ok now

Secondly you can't buy them in the UK. Last time a UCN member (who I cannot find on our databases, who knows maybe Simon will have older archives than I) called Collin Fox Was kind enough to buy it for me in the US (from e-bay) and send it over to me - I then sent him the money and enough to cover package postage and conversion to US Dollars. He did this not just for me but for a (former) friend of mine.

Anyway I urgently need a graphics calculator and I've got a promise of enough money to afford the new one from the shops. So if there is anyone out there who will help me please say so I really am desperate.

I've got exams at the end of January.

Isn't there an appropriate worldwide online dealer there? Why not use one of the many.

Look at this site (German!)

Grafiktaschenrechner

They ship nearly everywhere and charge EUR 93,90 for 1 GTR.
They also want to have 9 to 14 EUR for shipping outside of germany.

You can pay when you receive the package.

Click on "Artikel Merken" left of the Price
Now klick on "Zur Kasse" to enter your adresse
Anrede = "Herr" (Mr.)
Vorname = Name
Nachname = Familyname
Stra?e = Street
Ort = Town
PLZ = the postal code (zip code of your city)
Land = enter "Vereinigtes K?nigreich" (United Kingdom)
Bundesland = (Maybe england or leave out!)
Telefonnummer = Phone number (including country code)

Leave averything without a * out!

The second adresse is where it should be shipped to (probably the same as
the first / who should charge) You may leave the second adresse.

Nachricht = Message!

Then click weiter ->

I can't help you further, because i dont buy one!

Good luck!

It's not cheaper (93,95 euro), but maybe the shipping costs...I haven't looked that up.

109 is probably the best price I have seen on that so far, but check yahoo shopping. I found mine that way, and I'm sure yahoo would offer world-wide shipping. I'll keep an eye on e-bay as well, and I'll update you if I find anything.

Ah... Froogle at Google... what will they think of next. (it actually comes from the word 'frugal!' :lol:).

Isn't is amazing how many computer games, videogames and consoles you can find there for less than $1? For example, they have 'Diablo' listed for $0.01 and Nintendo 64 consoles for $0.50!

Is it true that you can't buy AFX calculators in Australia? :( (not that I'm from there or anything... :rolleyes:)

That amazon link was very helpful (especially since my german isn't very good). I've found the FX2.0 and I'll buy that if I can't find the FX 2.0+ anywhere

thanks VeRy much guys!

If anyone does find the fx2.0+ please tell me quickly as I'm going to order the fx2.0 in the next few days! Thanks.

Iain.
