if you look in the manual (mine being the 9850) it says quote, "When you use a command that requires an argument, without providing a valid argument." which means that you probably typed something in wrong, or if you have a cable, i would reset your memory and try again.

Doesn't need to be that drastic. If you press the back arrow when you get that error, it should take you right to the command that the calc doesn't understand. Most times it would be something like some function calling something from a list that doesn't exist or a matrix or variable that doesn't exist. Sometimes it is a goto statement that points to something that doesn't exist. Like a "goto A" statement without an "Lbl A" statement in the program.
If you are still having problems, let me know. What kind of program is it anyway?

Wrong! there would appears a "Go Error" and not an "Arg Error".Sometimes it is a goto statement that points to something that doesn't exist. Like a "goto A" statement without an "Lbl A" statement in the program.
@Sn0rKy:
Please post us the command where the "Arg Error" appears!
bye
