Hello. i wan?t to buy a new calculator and i am not shure between ClassPad and TI Voyage 200. After reading a lot i think a will go for ClassPad but i think the TI has more software available. I'm studing Electronics Engineering, and i didn't find any software available for this subject. TI has a pre-loaded aplication with 700 formulas in electronics and electricity. Does any of know about a aplication like this ? It would be great that Casio (or other) made such an aplication, as well as another especific aplication ( Mecanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc)

Ok people, i've decided for ClassPad, i hope i did the right choice. As for my previous post, i've made a search in www.classpad.org and i did find some very interesting things. For the ones who eventually don?t know this site, go and see it, especially a the link Canyon's Corner.

hello, i see that you have already decided but I would like you to know that the classpad is not currently the best for electronics, it may become much better in the future but if you want results right now then the voyage would probably be better for you.

CP could be a powerfull tool if you know how to use it , you should check betoes web site , he knows a lot about electronics and he made really cool programs, but voyage would be better for you as a new user

CP is a good choice if you know or want to learn (its very easy) casiobasic, do programs for exams its very easy and helpfull.

Hello people,thank you for your answers. I choosed CP because i have the same opninion as you, it's very powerfull machine with great capabilities, that only needs to be explored. Because i?m starting my studies, i don't mind waiting 1 or 2 years, because only then i will need real electronics and computing calculations. As for the Voyage i think is a great calculator but i think CP has more capabilities.
One more question: for programming in CP, can i program in PC and then copy the program to CP ?

yes you can, its quite easy to do so.
