Whoa, the judges must be very fast to be able to test all programs in 1 day :greengrin: :P

I think we won't know the results before some (casio-)days* :D

lol.

So, who has participated to the contest ? (i don't think there are many progs as this is exams period)
It would be great if the participants show us what they did :)

Some French progs :
Dr Harrison by mccyrille
8 Pool by Flore Love

There are some very nice entries! Of course a bunch of them all came pouring in the last week :) . Ricky has finished assembling all the entries for the judges (I think it might have taken him a bit longer because he got lost playing some good games :D ) Now it will probably take a week or so to have all the judging completed.

There are several exceptionally good add-ins. I hope that there are even more like these mentioned - to fill up the whole ClassPad flash memory. See you! :lol2:

any update on this? still waiting for results, and also, will the source codes be available? because i have no time to learn how to program by reading (i don't like reading anyway) and have thusfar learned programming by actually looking at the code...

I uploaded all the programs that I have created, compiled into a single archive, to classpad.org! I spent half an hour trying to do this also to casiocalc.org, but it was a terrible experience! I hope that you will be satisfied! Greetings to all the people!

Well give more details, note that your file must be less than 400Ko im size and that you have ~25-30 seconds to upload it... (else the script get killed by the server :( )

If you can't upload your file you can provide a link in the FileSharing.

I did not make any add-in since I was already an experienced Algebra programmer. Since I did not know the first thing about ClassPad Basic, I thought that it was a good idea to try myself in Basic programming first.
By the way, see the results at classpad.org! It is a shame that all the programs are not being listed, so that the user can evaluate them as they think it is better. By the way, all the programs have some bad sides:
1) 8Pool is played with the pen, but it is not a very complex add-in;
2) Dr. Harrison is a very complex add-in, but it uses only the keyboard in such an extent, that I feel annoyed at some times when I input my name.
3) I would not comment Sokoban and Aspirin, they were already issued, but they are not very complex add-ins, which is not very promising;
4) You have my programs, and judge by yourself whether Hangman is better than my programs. It seems a little shameful to see the ranking.
Fortunately, I passed all my exams this week and so I am happy now! CU!
By the way, dear Crimson, please link to classpad.org, and if you can, please upload my archive to this server. Always feel free to comment on my programs!

In fact, I am really sorry that you lost the digital still camera and won a ClassPad in advance... I consider your program to be the best - it is really complex and huge. Just compare it to 8Pool - yours is three times bigger! Also, I cannot stop playing your game... I think that you should only animate the movement of Dr. Harrison and the robots! Creating an own level is not so important, for one simple reason: I play only Custom level in Windows' Minesweeper with the biggest dimensions of the mine field and only ten mines. Sometimes I finish the game only after a single click! This is really a good option for lazy computer users... CU!
P.S. Dear Crimson, thank you very much for the upload! I do not know what I would do without you... Now all the ClassPad users can evaluate my works. Bye!

I believe during the contest period all submissions to classpad.org were automatically submitted to the contest. You can send email to contest AT classpad.org if you want to retract your entry, or for information about the prize.

Actually, there wern't that many entries. Most everything that was entered is either a winner or has already been uploaded to ClassPad.org.

We're not making all entries available for download, in part because most authors included their source code which they might not want published. Instead we decided that each author can decide if they want to upload their programs.
