Which is better for engineering, specifically electrical.
And why is it better for engineering?

there is currently nothing in the way of engeneering support on the classpad, so TI is best in that regard.

english:
Hi sree.

You're right on what you said, the issue is that the classpad dont have engineer functions on the OS like TI's. With some genius you can do scholar problems. I tried to do it on university, classpad helped me a lot, i used it for solve manually z transforms, laplace etc... but not the entire problem. With TI's its faster coz you dont have to think how to do programs or something to solve the problems.

Too work for betoe, a summary: we know that CP300 does not support engineering calculus for the moment, because casio loves school.

a member: Jaimezacalcs propose that we can translate TI MATH libraries (in ti basic, so easy??,its possible), in our calcs, or emulators to casiobasic. why?, this libraries have a lot of features that contribute to optimize the use of casio calcs in engineering. Jaimezacalcs provides?all the links neccesary to perform this work..

the question is, we can do this?(yes  ), anyone can to contribute with this job?

Edit:
ok, sounds good, i will check the libraries and post here in.. 3 days? for the moment i dont have a classpad, only the emulator :banghead: but i had done some programs... if someone studies mechanic engineer, can translate my code for solve isotastics plane armors (not sure about that, i dont have mechanics knowledge) for the Algebra FX 2.0+ (structure solver v2.00) to CP casiobasic, im starting with the second part of this program..

The AFX master: maybe i can help you to translate that program for the classpad. I dont have much free time but maybe with your help (knowing you have the classpad manager) we can do it. Im not sure if your program is complex. Add me to a instant messenger you prefer (i think MSN :D), i use some of them.

I have a program at my site that a guy gave me for publish it on internet, check it out. Its so simple but maybe it could be helpful for you (called Coeficiente de rozamiento de tuberias).

SOME CP ADVANTAGES: :D

.- The best geometry app
.- You can program on C, (C++?),basic and Lua...... do you need more?
.- More fast tan TI-89 on some cases (not at all)
.- Powerful CAS, A bit under the TI89 CAS
.- Fast interface for algebraic manipulation thanks for 2-D on the Vrtual Keyboard
.- So stable, not freezing on exams (HP i hate yor "microsoft WINDOWS 49g+",that needs CTRL+ALT+DEL to work fine)
.- 4 or 5 mb on flash>> 2.5 mb on TI89-Titanium
.- Is so pretty!
.- You can program things more powerful than MEpro, for example. using C
.-CHEAP!!!!!!!

DISADVANTAGES: :banghead:

.-No auto ans (we wait it for OS 3)
.-No shift (hav?nt easy solution)
.-Stylus is so slow for dummies calculus (+.-.*./)
.-scratcheable (new word???) screen
.- The fu....ing (sorry moderators :D ). screen cover (have solution, PDA covers!!!)
.- No unit conversion via Strings (as HP or TI)
.- no Nonlinear systems of eqns (probably on OS 3)
.-Slow basic (Why basic, try LUA)

I know how you feel. Check out my past posts in this forum. I also did a review of the Classpad on amazon.com.

I have dug my Classpad out of the closet recently, though. I've done a few simple programs in BASIC. I figure I have an excuse to get my work done more slowly if I use my Classpad at work.

1. Cuanto de memoria tiene la classpad 300?
2. En la classpad 300, puede programarse en C y C++?

2. Yes, click on this link www.cpsdk.com You have to be registered to download CPSDK
3. I don't know, I don't own AFX. But I think ClassPad has more memory, a more powerful processor, and a touch screen! This is the main difference!

The AFX Master

Really Kilburn?? :lol2: , you?re the first english-speaker that tells me " spanish is easy!"....you?re lucky, because the common used english-spanish or spanish-english translators are so bad, and strange :banghead: , i prefer to use a dictionary for foreign words :D
