When I access Eactivity from main Classpad menu it takes like 15 seconds to get in and while I am waiting for it to load I see a window titled "Open" displaying "One moment please" and a progress bar that is stuck at 0% for the whole loading time. It also takes like 10 seconds to get out of eactivity and if you turn on the classpad after turning it off while being in eactivity it also takes some while. I have tried deleting all my Eactivities with no success.

After searching for any similar issues on these forums, in the classpad manuals and on google, I decided to post here since I don't know if this is a normal classpad behaviour and I would like to know any possible causes of this if it wasn't so. Thanks in advance.

PS: I have last OS version (2.00)

How much memory is available in MCS? Do you have a lot of variables or some big lists? If so, try deleting them and see if this helps.

Hmm I had 80K available. I just removed some stuff and I have 300K free now but I don't see any difference.

PS: Just removed all my ADD-INS (llike 1 MB worth) and cleared 180 K more from other data (my variables from main folder including big geometry files, pics and other graph list data) and it seems to take now 4 seconds. Is that supposed to be normal? (stuck at 0% as always).

PS 2: Re Added some ADD INS, and I see no noticeable increase on eactivity load speed, so it is MCS I guess? Is that supposed to be caused by only the variables at main folder? Thanks for your help :).

 Dear friend, that is pretty normal for the ClassPad! You see, the more space in the MCS RAM for temporary data, the quicker all the aplications work! Just like the problem of slow virtual memory in the ordinary computers! Do not worry at all!
:plol: Nothing depends on the FLASH ROM, fill it up all, if you like! By the way, all the applications in the ClassPad behave in this way (notice the busy indicator going on after entering an application and especially before exiting the application)!
:lol2: Personally, I have tested the ClassPad with only 4KB of free memory! It does not matter about the folder structure, just the free space! Even the Manager was frozing often... not to speak about the ClassPad, which is several times slower!

Ok thanks for the info guys ^^. It is just annoying to see the eactivity stuck at 0% while taking long to load unlike other applications that don't even show a progress bar and don't take as long.

15 seconds sounds like a long time. Why don't you email me a copy of your MCS image and maybe I can figure out why it is taking it so long.
