Little Problem With Matrix

hi
I have a problem, i want to solve easy matrix for example [[1,2][3,4]] and it should be "-2" but i dont know how I can solve it on my cp... <_< please help...

Hi and welcome to the UCF

That you're triying to do isn't "to solve" a matrix. is the calculation of the matrix determinant. on the classpad you can perform that calculation with the det(insert_matrix_here) function, available on the action>matrix calculate menu
