  • Calculators:
    Classpad 330

Posted 29 February 2008 - 07:26 PM

I have just gotten a Classpad and its versatility is fantastic. I teach PreCalculus and so i have created functions for Heron's Formula as well as sum/difference formulas for sine, cosine, and tangent. However, I was about to begin a function for vector projection but realized I didn't know how to handle input if the input was two vectors. How would I access each component of each vector if the input isn't each individual component?

For instance, the dotP( function computes the dot product of two vectors so it's input requires two vectors. I created two vectors called u and v, ran dotP(u,v) and got a correct answer. If I could view the code for that function I'm sure I could write code for my other formula. So I guess a different question would be, how do I view the written code of the functions already included on the classpad? Don't those functions follow the same rules as the functions I write as a user?

Thanks in advance,
Smola
