Hello to everyone. Today i decide to update my classpad O.S.

But i've had a big problem. When i was trying to do that, apears some message say that the back up date only works in version 3 or higher.

Because of that i can progress with the instalation.

I have to update for version 2.2 before e uptade to 3.03 ??

(by the way, i have search in the forum but a didn't fing any problem like mine)

beste regards for everyone CP users !! :D

I've found something in casio's site.

"ClassPad Handheld Ver.2 / Ver.1
Applying "ClassPad OS Update", you can upgrade your ClassPad Handheld OS to the Ver.2.20. But you cannot upgrade it to the latest version. Please purchase "ClassPad Manager for ClassPad Series Ver.3.0" and apply "OS Update Ver.3.0" bundled with it.

Big Question: I've to instal "ClassPad Manager series ver.3.0" to update my O.S. 1.24 to O.S. 3.03 ???

What CP Manager ver. do you use? Doesn't the setup wizard backup your files?!
The best step by step you can try is this:
First instal older version of CPM ver 2. or before
then try to update to 2.* which you have (for example update to 2.2)
now with a 2.2 CPM installed I'm sure you can Update your 2.2 CP OS to 3.0.

At this time i has already install the os. 3.03 in my classpad.

For that, i have to, install O.s. 2.20, then a install O.s. 3.00 (i have to install the classpad manager for it), and last but not the least i install the 3.03 !!
