I'm new to the 9860 but experienced at C and C++ and a maths teacher. I wish to develop an add on .
I've created a sample console application that uses C to display information and C++ to do the calculations.
I am in need of a sample project that compiles in the SDK and works on the 9860 and shows how to use some of the API.
Please do point me to any resource that will help me.
My objective is to gradually develop an add on that can answer just about any maths questions, but I need to know more about the limits of an add on.
I've downloaded the SDK and just need a little help to getting started.

Scout's reference is good, I think there were a couple more tutorials at one time, but I can't find them. One was a sample fibonacci sequence and the other displayed a box on the screen. IIRC, however, orton and the princess was open source, maybe you can get some inspiration from that.

Thanks for your replies.
I may have a problem with my setup.
When I follow the starter guide instructions by building an empty project it does not compile.

I have Windows 7 and 64 bit machine.
So deinstalled and ran the setup as administrator and then installed on a ram disk. Then I had to take control of the directory and then ran the SDK and the empty project did compile.
What a nice surprise and my thanks to Casimo.
Now to start learning how to produce the add on.

How did this guy http://community.cas.../page__p__42808 learn how to do this?
I'm now up and running and thanks to all who have helped.
I've got all the SDK documents but how do you learn how to use it. For example 'Bdisp functions are all about the screen of the calculator. There are two screens you can draw to. DD and VRAM' but where did he learn this information.I seem to be lacking some information.
