  • Calculators:
    Casio-made Truly SC-183 scientific calculator

Can someone tell me why Casio refuses to implement power-off memory protection in their simple two-line scientific calculators?

I have the fx-115ms and the fx-3950P, both terrific two-line calculators but when they time-out and auto turn-off after a few minutes of non-use my calculation history is lost!

Of my Sharp two-line calcs, only my Sharp EL-506R has memory safeguard, and of course all TI's have this memory safeguard too.

What is Casio's reason for leaving out this very important feature?
