    Casio FX-82SX Plus

Is it possible to hack the Casio FX-82SX Plus calculator to make it solve equations like the FX-570MS?

Its (temporarily) possible with a FX-82MS: video

I've noticed Casio puts the 82SX Plus together with the 82MS and a bunch of others in one manual (and they look very similar) so I guess they have the same board and chip?

That would mean it might be possible to possible to expand most of Casio's two-lines-display series to 570MS functionality

There are TWO entirely different series of MS calculators that have nothing in common. 82SX Plus and 82MS belong to different series.

FX-92 College B: I used this:

https://fxesms1.gith...72716/pn_1.html

It displayed three new mode items: PRGM RUN PCL, but these items still do not work. Is this model related to the programmable series???

PS, it also displays REG, but the REG menus themselves do not function properly.

FX-83MS (!) 1st revision: this method does NOT work at all. Everything goes fine till the last step, then crash or reset.

PS, FX-83MS has hidden button positions for $ (integral), nCr, nPr, Pol, Rec, CALC. Also it has a hidden MODE button position that enables EQN mode.

FX-83MS: the 131313 method variant gives a weird result: it sticks permanently to SD mode, but with CONST on the top right key and with DISTR on Shift+3 and other random key reassignments.

FX-92 Collège B, 535353: you can return to COMP mode, and in this mode the CALC button gives ʃdx and d/dx (along with some other reassignments).
