What about that partner thing?
Is there any restrictions or links I must add? :unsure:

andy: My old geocities site re-directs to the new one, so maybe you didn't notice, but please use the link in the first post.

look on my links page as an example, the partners are everyone else hosted on earthforge, you must have a little section for links to them on your site somewhere.

You should make a php script that autaumaticaly create a list of all other websites you host and make it accessible to your "clients", it'll be simple ;)

In fact I was thinking to a script which would simply return a list in text format that the webmaster would handle with another php script that make pretty HTML code... so they always have the most current version. :)

Don't worry about it Crimson, as i think we all would like to create our own unique partner page. Yet, i'll still like to see what you come up with.

I'm thinking of things, see I dont want to have everyone have to update their partners list every time there is a new one, I'm thinking a script where you can set what goes before and after (a table cell for example), it would take html code and insert the descriptions into your page however you formatted it.

this is just a rough idea, and amoung many others, I'll tell you what I think up.

(2072, i cant make a simpler script because a few the people hosted dont know php)

Can't you just make it as a text file in the main direcctory of earthforge.com?
Who wants can read it out with php (this is possible right?). And the others
can use the text in there and make their own partner page from it.

Crimson can you please tell me how you made your earthforge main page, where each member can add their own descriptions. I want to use the same code for my site, as i want to have my menu and main page in seperate files. So that i don't have to keep updating every page, when i add a thing in my menu.

I used this just cause I've been using it since I started php:
<? if ($handle=fopen("./page.html", "rb"))
               fpassthru($handle); ?>
you can also do an include.
