Hi everybody.

I was wonder. If there is a way to edit files .g1e (the e-activity files) in the pc, like we do for program files .g1m on FA-124.

I use a lot e-Activity to store Formulas and Logarithms, so for me its very slow write the explanation for the formulas, and quite often i lost everything I write because I press AC/on by mistake.

So, anyone have an idea for edit e-Activity?

Regards from Bolivia :)

Maybe if we had the specs for the g1e, we could write an E-activity editor for the PC...

this is my first post so yeh...

first you need the casio fx9860 emulator which you can download from casio

use FA-124 to copy the .g1e files to desktop

open the emulator and go to memory, then press F3

find the file and open it
copy to storage mem then root

then go to E-ACT
you can edit the file there

once done save and exit
go back to menu and then to memory

press F2
select your file and press copy
copy to SD Card
choose where you want to save and then save

you can now use FA-124 to convert back to your calc

so yeh thats it :D

Hi,
This is my first post too.

RE: Transfering eActivity Files - .G1e files

I have a fx-9860G and I have had a difficult time trying to get FA-124 to transfer eActivity Files from my computer to my fx-9860G through the USB cable.

I do not have an SD slot - which seems to be the documented method from the fx-9860 user guide.

FA-124 only seems to recognize .G1m and .G1r files. I have seen messages for trying to convert other file formats such as txt so that they can transfer, but I have not seen anything on .G1e files.

I had success in transfering .Glr files such as "Pong" and other games from CASIO Kingdom.

Any suggestions for eActivities?

Thanks-

tlee

RE: Transfering eActivity Files - .G1e files

I have a fx-9860G and I have had a difficult time trying to get FA-124 to transfer eActivity Files from my computer to my fx-9860G through the USB cable.

In FA-124 there are a number of icons. The one at the end looks like a picture of a green pencil
writing on paper.

The first step is to click this icon.

Then right-click on default, select Import, and now where it says file type, you can open
the drop down menu and choose g1e.

This information was taken from:

There are e-activities at:
