As some might now, I'm working on a clone for the FA-124 in the first release it will be compatible with Unix like systems (<{GNULINUX}>, Mac OS, *BSD, etc.). Does anyone where can I find the format of the files, I mean how files are stored. I have a basic program and I want to know how it's stored in memory so I can extract from my logs the file and get only the protocol.
Cheers,
Manuel

Perhaps the g1r format is a straight copy of the binary data stored on the calculator.
I don't know, but that's the way it worked on casio's first format: .cas

Hi, this is the only topic where someone with a G1N file exists that I've found, so I was wondering if anyone managed to contact bru to get a copy of this file (or get the contact of someone else that also has it)?

*.G1N files contain function menu icon data.
E.g., take the file "RUSSIAN.G1L" and rename it to "RUSSIAN.G1N" and you will see that you can now select a Russian menu language. Unfortunately, all icons will be corrupted as the original file only contained text but it should be possible to create a regular file by changing the payload and some indices.
The Prizm OS does not have a corresponding *.G3N file format. Instead, it is believed that function menu icon data needs to be included in a *.G3L file probably preceded by some special sub header information.
