hey there. I'm new to the forum and new to this model of Casio graphics calculators.

I have FA-124 installed. How do I shift games onto my calculator? I've tried but it said .g1a was an invalid file extension.

What is an emulator? Do I need one?

My calculator has 64kb RAm and 800kb of flash memory. Does that limit what games I can put on it?

Any recommendations for good games?

I'm pretty lost so any help would be appreciated.

cheers ;)

It's easy just copy that file to the root of the memory arm and the programme will run from the main menu

I'm having exactly the same problem. Is there a way to convert .g1a files into .g1r files?

All the .g1* files are designed for use with FA-124, but there are different ways of opening them.

* g1r is opened from the main menu ( or g1s if you click green pen) (click the calculator icon to go back to g1r)

* g1a - click the icon of the green pen, then in the right-hand window right-click on default to import

* g1m -click on the calculator icon, then in the right-hand window right-click on default to import.
