Hi All,
My first post here. I recently bought a FX9860GII, downloaded the SDK and wrote some programs in C, and while doing so, was introduced to the wonderful casiocalc community. Heartfelt thanks to the many posts which helped me solve a lot of programming issues.
Now, my question -
Is there a way (using C, SDK, syscalls if they are available etc.) in my addin by which I can find out the serial number of the calculator?
Or any kind of unique hardware id?
Thanks a lot!
Hardware Id - Fx9860gii

Sorry, I don't know much about programming with the SDK, but I just wanted to say "Welcome to the Forums!".
You figured out how to program in the SDK without posting at all? w00t! Congrats!
Dont forget to introduce yourself! http://www.casiocalc...?showtopic=5677

The calculator's 8-byte finger print is stored at 0x8000FFD0.
Hi,
Is it possible to change the Calculator ID to other number(some other calculators ID).
'll the program in other calculator work on this?
I installed an G1A application it is protected with the calculator ID so I want to hack it.
The application is not running in my program.
Please help.
