I got my new FX 1.0+ today (see other topic) and the first thing I did was checking the ROM. When I did so
I noticed that the test menu gave me EXACTLY the same result as on AFX 1.0+ (but have ROM 1.03). But
we thought a copy of the whole drive a must be stored on flash to make it able to
restore menu & invalid drive A but if this would be the case checksums have to be different since
the FX menu doesn't include the CAS & ALGEBRA Icons!

So can anyone explain why they are the SAME???

*EDIT!

It also doesn'T show the 111 in the lower left corner as AFX does but displays a 011. The three extra menus
are accessible though! So this number doesn't seem to indicate that the three first F keys are enabled!

FX 1.0 is the same calculator as AFX 2.0, the only thing which differs is that the CAS,ALG and TUTOR are not linked in menu by default. If you add the links the programs work just fine.

Yep! I knew this (I bought the calc because of this)
Is it also possible to call
the joint2.exe with the parameter CAS from another ASM/C program and not to link them?
